Fit & Factory Deductions
We will make all the necessary deductions based on the measurements you provide. Do not make your own deductions. Don’t add to the width to make up for any deductions that we will take. For more light coverage, choose an outside mount. See the deductions chart for the deductions per collection.
Recommendations
- Deductions may vary +/- 1/8". Do not account for factory deductions when measuring for your shade. Deduction information detailed in the table below.
- For all mounting types, fabric will measure exactly the length ordered when the vanes are in the closed position. When the vanes are rotated open, the shade will become slightly longer.
No Drill
- IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds is chosen, take all three standard width measurements (top, middle, bottom) to check for variance, but be sure to input the exact measurement of the top of your window frame into the width field. Compare the three measurements, and if the variance between them exceeds 1/4", Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds Headrail may not fit properly.
- The Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds option is only available for Inside Mount, requires 2 1/2" of depth to install, and is not recommended for use with PVC window frames.
- Factory will deduct approximately 5/8" off the width of the Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds headrail. Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds headrail is only available in the color white and will be visible after installation.
- The locking mechanism on the Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds headrail will be located on the opposite end of the control side selected for Continuous Cord Loop. The locking mechanism will be located on the right side Motorized options.
Good to Know

- The Cassettes features an Ivory headrail with a coordinated fabric insert.
- Continuous Cord Loop comes with a plastic beaded chain.
- Fabric slats on the shade are 100% polyester.
- For all mounting types, fabric will measure exactly the length ordered when the vanes are in the closed position. When the vanes are rotated open, the shade will become slightly longer.
- The safety device is required by law and must be applied on chain loops and prevents free-hanging loops in operating chains. Install the safety device at the maximum distance possible from the control mechanism to prevent slack in the loop.
Remote Motorization
- Motorization remote is not included and at least one remote is needed per order. Motorization charger comes standard.
- Add a 1-channel remote which can operate on a single frequency or upgrade to a 6-channel and 16-channel remote available at additional cost. When upgrading to multi-channel/frequency remote, please select 'No Remote' for any additional motorized shades you want to add to and power with it.
- Remote reaches from approximately 260 feet away from shade.
- 1 channel remote can operate up to 1 shade. If you have more than 1 shade to operate on a single remote we recommend 6 channel or 16 channel remote.
- 6 channel remote can operate up to 1 shade on each channel for a total of 6 shades.
- 16 channel remote can operate up to 1 shade on each channel for a total of 16 shades.
- Battery operated white remote comes included with a lithium battery CR 2032 – 3v.
- Motorized options are powered by rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, which will be shipped at or below 30% charge for safety. Fully charge your shades before use for optimal performance.

Inside Mount Instructions
To ensure an inside mount will work for your window, start by checking that you have enough mounting depth. You can find the exact requirements under the “Specifications” tab on the product page of the item you are considering.
Measuring the width
- The width measurement is found by measuring the inside of the window frame in three locations – the top, middle, and bottom. Choose the smallest of these measurements.
- If you get a 1/16" or 1/32" increment, round down to the nearest 1/8". (For example, if the smallest measurement is 24 9/16", round down to 24 1/2". If it's 24 3/8", no need to round down.)
- And that’s it! That’s the width measurement you’ll use when placing your order for sheer shades.
Measuring the height
- The height measurement is found by measuring the inside of the window frame in three locations – the top left, center, and the top right. Choose the largest of these measurements.
- If you get a 1/16" or 1/32" increment, round up to the nearest 1/8". (For example, if the largest measurement is 24 9/16", round up to 24 5/8". If it's 24 1/2", no need to round up.)
- And that’s it! That’s the height measurement you’ll use when placing your order for sheer shades.
Outside Mount Instructions
An outside mount is a great choice for better light coverage, since it fully covers the window and frame. To get the right fit, you’ll need to account for a few extra measurements when placing your order. We’ll custom make your shade to the exact dimensions you provide—no automatic additions are made.
Flat Surface Requirements
Start by choosing where you’d like to mount your shade. You’ll need at least 1-2½” of flat mounting space. For more details, check the product page and review the “Specifications” tab.
Measuring the width
- The width is found by measuring the top, middle, and bottom of the window.
- You’ll use that measurement and add the recommended minimum of 4 inches. This will ensure the window is properly covered.
- Here’s your width for your sheer shades.
Measuring the height
- The height is found by measuring the top left of the window to the bottom, the middle, and the top left.
- You’ll use the largest of the three measurements and add the recommended minimum of 4 inches. This will ensure the window is properly covered.

Measuring Tips
- Use a steel measuring tape
- If you get a 1/16" or 1/32" increment for width, round down to the nearest 1/8"
- If you get a 1/16" or 1/32" increment for height, round up to the nearest 1/8"
