We get it. Measuring your own windows for custom window blinds and shades can seem a little scary. But fear not! The Fit Improvement Team (F.I.T.™) is here to help you succeed! And if you make a mistake, no worries. With our F.I.T. Guarantee, you can’t go wrong!

Here’s how it works.

If you have an “oops!” moment measuring your window and your custom covering doesn’t fit, simply connect to our Customer Service team via Live Chat, and we’ll remake that exact same product for you for free (at your new size) within 30 days of the date your order was delivered.* You just cover $10 for shipping, and we’ll get your new remake right out to you. * If the dimensions of the remake are larger than your original blinds, there may be a small price increase due to material costs. Remakes under this guarantee are limited to one (1) per order and a total of four (4) per household per customer lifetime, whether for the same or different product(s). Any mis-measure remakes after that will be made at customer cost for the price of the original order, including any discounts, plus an additional 10% off. Guarantee excludes motorized products, drapery/curtains and shutters.

F.I.T. Tips for Measuring Windows

To make sure your custom window treatments fit right the first time, here are some tips from the window measuring experts:
Never just measure your old blinds or shades and use those measurements for your new ones. Always measure each individual window. (Even if they look like they’re the same size, trust us. They’re not.)
Your choice of mount type (inside or outside mount) affects how your custom treatment will fit in or over your window. Before measuring your windows, be sure to check the listed specifications on each product page for your product’s minimum/maximum width, height and depth requirements to ensure you’re measuring for the proper mount type. (Please note: Changes to mount types are not covered under this guarantee.)

Still a bit nervous? Baby steps. Start by ordering just one item before ordering for all of your windows. That way you can see how quickly your custom shade or blind is delivered (for FREE, BTW) and how easy your product is to put up, so you can order more with confidence!

If there is a defect in a product’s material, workmanship or it was not made to the same size and specifications you ordered, we promise to resolve the issue at no cost to you for up to 90 days from the date of purchase. We even pay for shipping!

And if you’re not happy with your custom covering for any other reason within the first 90 days –  you don’t like the color, you need a different mount or lift style, changed your mind about a feature, etc. – we’ll remake that same product in the same size for the same great discount price you paid, plus give you an additional 10% off.
