Corded lift comes standard, though kid-friendly cordless lift systems are available as upgrades, including motorized to raise and lower your Romans with the quick flick of a button. Plenty of exciting customizations, too, including an HOA-friendly ivory blackout liner, a 6” valance, and a soft (instead of a standard pleated) fold.

A sturdy Continuous Cord Loop chain makes moving heavier window coverings on larger windows nice and easy. To make using them even more convenient, upgrade to motorized lift with an economical, rechargeable headrail and affordable 5-channel remote control.

Recommendations

  • Factory will deduct approximately 1/2 inch from the provided width on inside mount orders with the standard headrail, and approximately 5/8 inch with the no-tools headrail to ensure a proper fit. Deductions may vary +/- 1/8".
  • Fabric-wrapped headrails come with corded and upgraded cordless lift only. Continuous cord loop and motorized lift options have metal headrails with fabric attached to front only.
  • Multiple shade orders of different heights may not have the same size pleats. We recommend ordering all shades using the longest length in the room and with the same lift system.
  • Lift cords are located on the back of the shade unless a valance is ordered, then they are located on the front.
  • Lift cords and headrail components will be visible from the back on sheer fabrics.
  • Valance upgrade available with corded and optional cordless lift systems only.
  • Fabric on products ordered without 6" valance upgrade will fall over the top of the headrail (waterfall style).
  • If the 6" valance upgrade is chosen, the fabric will fall behind the headrail, closer to the wall and valance will cover the headrail.
  • Outside mount valances come with valance returns.
  • When no valance is selected fabric will fall 2+ inches from the wall on outside mount. We recommend 4+ inches be added to the width of your shade when outside mounting to prevent light gaps.
  • Cordless shades without the 6” Valance upgrade will come with a mini valance on the back of the shade to hide the mechanism.
  • The mini valance on the back of the cordless shades will be the color of the chosen liner, or the color of the shade if no liner is chosen.
  • Optional standard liner color (white or ivory) will be visible from street. Optional blackout liner comes in ivory.
  • Soft fold is only available with standard light filtering liner or blackout liner.
  • Color of unlined shades will be seen from exterior.
  • Fabric color can vary from one dye lot to another. To ensure that all materials are from the same dye lot, please order shades for the same room at the same time.
  • Fabric Roman shades may have wrinkles in the material after installation. Most minor wrinkling will smooth out over several days. For quicker results, you can use a garment steamer on the back of the shade, being careful to avoid direct contact with the fabric.
  • Hold down brackets are not available on this product.
  • Motorized options for this product are not covered under our FIT Guarantee.
  • No-tools Headrail is only available in the color white and will be visible after installation, with or without valance.
  • The locking mechanism on the No-tools Headrail will be located on the opposite end of the control side selected for Continuous Cord Loop. The locking mechanism will be located on the right side for Cordless and Motorized options.
  • The No-tools Headrail option is only available for Inside Mount, requires 2 1/2" of depth to install, and is not recommended for use with PVC window frames.
  • IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If No-tools Headrail is chosen, measure the exact width of the top of your window frame and input those dimensions into the width field. Do NOT take the smallest of three measurements, which may cause your No-tools Headrail not to fit properly.

  • Rechargeable remote-control Motorization lift system upgrade includes rechargeable motor battery and charger.
  • Battery charge will last up to 6 months based on an average-sized shade raised and lowered twice a day. It takes approximately 4 hours to recharge the motor when fully depleted.
  • Remote reaches from approximately 65-80 feet away from shade.
  • Remote is already programmed to the motorized shade. All that is required is to connect the battery to the motor and your shade is ready to operate.

After reading all the reviews, I had some doubts if the roman shade I picked would be as good as I was hoping. Turns out it was great. The construction was solid, the measurements spot on, and the fabric looked great. I chose the blackout backing since my desk faces the window and the sun shines directly in during the afternoon. Very pleased with the product. Since I was installing these myself, it would have been difficult to hold up the shade and mark the hole for the bracket. Instead, I measured where the holes where and transferred that to the window and then I made a little wood jig to drill the pilot holes so all three brackets were the same distance from the window.
