"We ordered the Modern Architect Roller for our kitchen. What I love about them is that they let light in, but offer some shade from the sun in the afternoon. They have an element of texture, sort of like a bamboo shade, which adds a little something extra over a plain shade. We love them and have received compliments. I'm going to order more for our living/dining area, which adjoin the kitchen in a semi-open plan. The kitchen shades don't have the valance and have the cord at the side for easy raising and lowering. For the living/dining area, I'll get them with the valance and cordless for a neater look."

Recommendations

Deductions may vary +/- 1/8". Do not account for factory deductions when measuring for your shade.

Continuous Cord Loop is a color-coordinated cord with plastic beads.

Continuous Cord Loop will have a defaulted lift cord location to the left side.

Products come with 10" - 14" of extra fabric to conceal roller.

Fascia and cassette colors coordinate with the color of hardware selected.

Cordless Shades ordered with the Solid Bottom Rail will have a handle attached, while Cordless Shades ordered with the Fabric Wrapped Bottom Rail do not have a handle.

SelectConnect Bridge is only available with Wireless Pull Wand or EVE MotionBlinds™ Motorization systems. Standard Pull Wand Motorization is not compatible.

Cornice Size on Inside mount will be 1/8'' smaller than the ordered width with no side returns and no brackets included.

Cornice Size on Outside mount will be 1 1/8'' larger than the ordered width with 3 1/2'' returns, brackets included.

This is not a 100% privacy product; some fabrics may become sheer in certain lighting circumstances.

Shades over 94" wide will have a horizontal seam. Seam is placed as high as possible on shade so, in most cases, it remains hidden.

For 2 Shades on 1 headrail there will be a 7/8" - 1" space between shades. Cord and Wand controls for these shades will be on opposite ends.

Motorization Details

Pull motor wand is always metal and 25% of the shade's length

Motorization remote will always be black

The Eve by MotionBlinds motor can be controlled using an iPhone, operating the pull wand, or by using an optional remote

Shades using the Eve by MotionBlinds motor can be controlled using the Apple Home app or the Eve for HomeKit app, both available on the Apple App Store.

The SelectConnect Bridge is available and will allow you to control the shades with your smartphone or pair with home automation systems such as Alexa and Google

A full battery charge will last up to 12 months based on an average-sized shade raised and lowered once a day

Battery life span is approximately 365 cycles on average

Motorization Instructions

Motorized shades ship in "transportation" mode to prevent shade from accidentally operating. After installation the motor needs to be activated. See instructions to activate shade

Shades comes fully charged with upper and lower limits preset

It takes approximately 6 hours to recharge the motor when fully depleted

Motorization offers three remote options featuring a CR2430 battery

Remote comes programmed to the shade. If multiple shades are ordered they will all come programmed to the remote. One remote per room is recommended for convenience

Remote range will function up to 50 ft

Integrated Li-ion battery is rechargeable with USB C cable for the Wireless and Eve Motionblinds Motors, and Micro USB for all other motors

Android support for Eve MotionBlinds motors not yet available.

I was apprehensive after ordering our shades, I was concerned that the shades wouldn’t fit our sliding glass doors correctly or would just not look right. After receiving our shades and installing, I was thrilled! The shades fit exactly and look absolutely great! The quality is high and they function beautifully. I am so impressed with the design consultant who took a lot of time on the phone to help me figure out the exact measurements of the two shades on one roller head. She was so kind and patient, and her measurements were perfect! Will definitely use Select Blinds when I need shades or blinds in the future. Great value and excellent customer service!

Great product, easy install, fantastic help from beginning to end. Did my measurements and then spent about 15 minutes on the phone with them going over everything and making minor adjustments. Everything came out to an exact fit. Product came out nicer than expected. Shipping was even before they estimated. We just cant say enough about the personal and the product. Website was very easy to navigate as well.
