Recommendations

- Products come with extra fabric to conceal the roller tube.
- To ensure color consistency and minimize dye lot variation, order all shades for the same room at the same time.

Good to Know
- Shades over 98" wide will have a horizontal seam when choosing colors from the Essential Collection. Seam is placed as high as possible on shade so, in most cases, it remains hidden.
- Continuous Cord Loop is a color-coordinated cord with plastic beads.
- Continuous Cord Loop will have a defaulted lift cord location to the left side.
- Products come with 10" - 14" of extra fabric to conceal roller.
- Fascia and Cassette colors coordinate with the color of hardware selected.
- Cordless Shades ordered with the Solid Bottom Rail will have a handle attached, while Cordless Shades ordered with the Fabric Wrapped Bottom Rail do not have a handle.
- Cornice Size on Inside mount will be 1/8'' smaller than the ordered width with no side returns and no brackets included.
- Cornice Size on Outside mount will be 1 1/8'' larger than the ordered width with 3 1/2'' returns, brackets included.
- For 2 Shades on 1 headrail there will be a 7/8" - 1" space between shades. Cord and Wand controls for these shades will be on opposite ends.
- The safety device is required by law and must be applied on chain loops and prevents free-hanging loops in operating chains. Install the safety device at the maximum distance possible from the control mechanism to prevent slack in the loop.
SelectConnect Bridge
- The SelectConnect Bridge is compatible with almost all Motorization systems we offer. (Not compatible with Panel Tracks, Wood Blinds, or the SelectBlinds Automation system)
- The SelectConnect Bridge is only compatible with remote-operated shades. (shades that use both Wand + Remote are compatible, Wand-only shades are not compatible)
- You must have Wi-Fi access in areas where products are installed for controller to work.
- Download of free Bond Home App on iOS (Apple) or Android devices required.
- Controller range is approximately 150' or 30 blinds/shades. One controller per floor is recommended for use in typical size homes. However, multiple units may be needed for full coverage depending on the location of window coverings and the layout and construction materials of your home.

Remote Motorization
- Motorization remote and hub will always be black
- Integrated Li-ion battery is rechargeable with a USB cable
- A full battery charge will last up to 12 months based on an average-sized shade raised and lowered once a day
- Battery life span is approximately 365 cycles on average
- Shades comes fully charged with upper and lower limits preset
- Motorized shades ship in "transportation" mode to prevent shade from accidentally operating. After installation the motor needs to be activated. See instructions to activate shade
- It takes approximately 6 hours to recharge the motor when fully depleted
- Motorization offers three remote options featuring a CR2430 battery
- Remote comes programmed to the shade. If multiple shades are ordered they will all come programmed to the remote. One remote per room is recommended for convenience
- Remote range will function up to 50 ft
- Motorized options are powered by rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, which will be shipped at or below 30% charge for safety. Fully charge your shades before use for optimal performance.
Motorized Wand
- Pull motor wand is always metal and 25% of the shade's length
- Wireless Pull Wand motorized shades require at least 1 remote per order for programming
- One bridge is needed per dwelling residence to link your Wireless Pull Wand Motorization shades with the app for your smartphone or pair with home automation systems such as Alexa and Google

Inside Mount Instructions
To ensure an inside mount will work for your window, start by checking that you have enough mounting depth. You can find the exact requirements under the “Specifications” tab on the product page of the item you are considering.
Measuring the width
- The width measurement is taken from the inside edge of the window frame at the top.
- If you are getting a 1/16” or 1/32” increment, round down to the nearest 1/8”. (For example, if the smallest measurement is 24 9/16", round down to 24 1/2". If it's 24 3/8", no need to round down.)
- This will be the width you order.
Measuring the height
- The height measurement is taken from the window frame in three places (top left, center, and top right down to the window sill).
- Record the largest height out of the 3 measurements up to the nearest 1/8”.
- If you are getting a 1/16” or 1/32” increment, round up to the nearest 1/8”. (For Example, If the largest measurement is 24 9/16", round up to 24 5/8". If it's 24 1/2", no need to round up.)
- This will be the height you order.
Outside Mount Instructions
An outside mount is a great choice for better light coverage, since it fully covers the window and frame. To get the right fit, you’ll need to account for a few extra measurements when placing your order. We’ll custom make your shade to the exact dimensions you provide—no automatic additions are made.
Flat Surface Requirements
Start by choosing where you’d like to mount your shade. You’ll need at least 1-2½” of flat mounting space. For more details, check the product page and review the “Specifications” tab.
Measuring the width
- When measuring the window’s width, take the measurement at the top of the window frame.
- You’ll use that measurement and add the recommended minimum of 4 inches. This will ensure the window is properly covered.
- Now you have the perfect width and you’re ready to order.

- When measuring the window’s height, take it from three locations: the left, center, and the right.
- You’ll use the largest of the three measurements and add the recommended minimum of 4 inches. This will ensure the window is properly covered.

Measuring Tips
