Fit & Factory Deductions
We will make all the necessary deductions based on the measurements you provide. Do not make your own deductions. Don’t add to the width to make up for any deductions that we will take. For more light coverage, choose an outside mount. See the deductions chart for the deductions per collection.
Recommendations
- Deductions may vary +/- 1/8". Do not account for factory deductions when measuring for your shade.
- Shade must be installed evenly to avoid fraying on sides.
- Do not remove band around shade until fully installed to avoid fraying on sides of shade.
- Always lift and lower cordless products with both hands to avoid unleveling and the need for re-leveling.
- The safety device is required by law and must be applied on chain loops and prevents free-hanging loops in operating chains. Install the safety device at the maximum distance possible from the control mechanism to prevent slack in the loop.
- Side-By-Side Alignment: If you are ordering shades that are the same height for side by side installation, please call/text our Customer Care team before the order is placed to notify us which (if any) shades you would like us to align for you.
No Drill
- IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds is chosen, take all three standard width measurements (top, middle, bottom) to check for variance, but be sure to input the exact measurement of the top of your window frame into the width field. Compare the three measurements, and if the variance between them exceeds 1/4", Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds may not fit properly.
- The Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds option is only available for Inside Mount, and requires 2 1/2" of depth to install. It is not recommended for use with PVC window frames.
- Factory will deduct approximately 5/8” off of the Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds headrail, regardless of lift style.
- When Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds is ordered, factory will deduct 1/2” off of the width and height of your fabric.
- Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds headrail is only available in the color white and will be visible after installation.
Good to Know
- All brackets are white and will be visible at the top of the headrail.

- This collection is Greenguard certified, meaning it has been tested and verified to meet strict chemical emissions standards, ensuring healthier indoor air quality.

- Products come with 6" - 8" of extra fabric to conceal roller.
- Continuous Cord Loop comes with a nickel chain.
- Shade must be installed evenly to avoid fraying on sides.
- Shade comes standard with fabric insert cassette.
- Do not remove band around shade until fully installed to avoid fraying on sides of shade.
- The Auto-Down and Premium Cordless Lift headrails will be color-coordinated to match the selected shade fabric for a seamless, cohesive appearance.
- The Premium Cordless lift mechanism will be located on the right side of the headrail, causing a slightly larger light gap on that side.
- Always lift and lower cordless products with both hands to avoid unleveling and the need for re-leveling.
- Motorized options are powered by rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, which will be shipped at or below 30% charge for safety. Fully charge your shades before use for optimal performance.
SelectConnect Bridge
- The SelectConnect Bridge is compatible with almost all Motorization systems we offer. (Not compatible with Panel Tracks, Wood Blinds, or the SelectBlinds Automation system)
- The SelectConnect Bridge is only compatible with remote-operated shades. (shades that use both Wand + Remote are compatible, Wand-only shades are not compatible)
- You must have Wi-Fi access in areas where products are installed for controller to work.
- Download of free Bond Home App on iOS (Apple) or Android devices required.
- Controller range is approximately 150' or 30 blinds/shades. One controller per floor is recommended for use in typical size homes. However, multiple units may be needed for full coverage depending on the location of window coverings and the layout and construction materials of your home.
- Please note this product is not covered under our FIT Guarantee.

Remote Motorization
- At least one remote is needed per order. The 5-channel remote allows you to operate up to 5 shades on a single frequency and the 15-channel remote allows you to operate up to 15 shades on a single frequency. When adding a multi-channel/frequency remote, please select 'No Remote' for any additional motorized shades you want to add and power with.
- Remote will operate shade up to 65-80 away

- A full battery charge will last up to 4 months based on an average-sized shade raised and lowered once a day. It takes approximately 4 hours to recharge the motor when fully depleted
- Motorized shades ship in "transportation" mode to prevent shade from accidentally operating. After installation the motor needs to be activated. See instructions to activate shade
- Remote comes programmed to the shade. If multiple shades are ordered they will all come programmed to the remote. One remote per room is recommended for convenience

Inside Mount Instructions
To ensure an inside mount will work for your window, start by checking that you have enough mounting depth. You can find the exact requirements under the “Specifications” tab on the product page of the item you are considering.
Measuring the width
- Start by measuring the width from the inside edge of the window’s frame at the top.
- If you are getting a 1/16" or 1/32" increment, round down to the nearest 1/8". (For example, if the smallest measurement is 24 9/16", round down to 24 1/2". If it's 24 3/8", no need to round down.)
- This is the width you will order.
Measuring the height
- Measure the exact height (top to bottom) of the window frame in three places (top left, center, and top right down to the window sill).
- Record the largest height out of the 3 measurements up to the nearest 1/8".
- If you are getting a 1/16" or 1/32" increment, round up to the nearest 1/8". (For example, if the largest measurement is 24 9/16", round up to 24 5/8". If it's 24 1/2", no need to round up.)
- This will be the height you order.
Outside Mount Instructions
An outside mount is a great choice for better light coverage, since it fully covers the window and frame. To get the right fit, you’ll need to account for a few extra measurements when placing your order. We’ll custom make your shade to the exact dimensions you provide—no automatic additions are made.
Flat Surface Requirements
Start by choosing where you’d like to mount your shade. You’ll need at least 1-2½” of flat mounting space. For more details, check the product page and review the “Specifications” tab.
Measuring the width
- When measuring the window’s width, take the measurement at the top of the window frame.
- You’ll use that measurement and add a minimum of four inches, which is 2” for each side. This will ensure the window is properly covered.
- Now you have the perfect width and you’re ready to order.
Measuring the height
- When measuring the window’s height, take it from three locations: the left, center, and right.
- You’ll use the largest of the three measurements and add a minimum of four inches, which is two for the top and two for the bottom. This ensures the window will be properly covered.

Measuring Tips
- Use a steel measuring tape
- If you get a 1/16" or 1/32" increment for width, round down to the nearest 1/8"
- If you get a 1/16" or 1/32" increment for height, round up to the nearest 1/8"
- SelectBlinds applies all necessary deductions; do not adjust width.
