NYBG Botanical Leaf Curtains

Add a warm glow to your interiors with New York Botanical Leaf Curtains, expertly designed to diffuse bright sunlight without sacrificing your view. This exclusive collaboration with The New York Botanical Garden transforms windows into living expressions of nature. Drawing from a world-renowned archive of botanical art and plant science, each design reflects a deep connection to the natural world.

Himalayan Trail is a nod to this spirit of exploration—when plant collectors and artists worked together to document rare species across the world. Inspired by a remarkable collection of early botanical paintings documenting plants native to the Himalayan region, this design traces back to works commissioned by John Ferguson Cathcart and created by a team of Indian artists. Later refined by master lithographer, Walter Hood Fitch, and published by botanist Joseph Dalton Hooker, these studies captured the richness and diversity of Himalayan plant life during a period of active exploration and discovery. Organic, fluid forms grounded in neutral, earthy tones evoke a sense of journey and discovery.

Our Holly Berry design is inspired by eighteenth-century illustrations, originally published in a British handbook that documented observations of native North American plants. Rooted in native plant studies, holly has long been valued for its beauty, bright red pigment, and its ecological significance. A balanced mix of leaves and berries creates a pattern that feels structured, but never stiff. There’s rhythm to it—something your eye can settle into.

This collection invites the joy and beauty of plants and flowers into your everyday spaces through custom window treatments designed for living rooms, bedrooms, and dining spaces.
