Fit & Factory Deductions
We will make all the necessary deductions based on the measurements you provide. Do not make your own deductions. Don’t add to the width to make up for any deductions that we will take. For more light coverage, choose an outside mount. See the deductions chart for the deductions per collection.
Recommendations
- Deductions may vary +/- 1/8". Do not account for factory deductions when measuring for your shade. Deduction information detailed in the table below.
- Products come with extra fabric to conceal the roller tube.
- To ensure color consistency and minimize dye lot variation, order all shades for the same room at the same time.
No Drill
- IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If any No-Drill Blinds option is chosen, take all three standard width measurements (top, middle, bottom) to check for variance, but be sure to input the exact measurement of the top of your window frame into the width field. Compare the three measurements, and if the variance between them exceeds 1/4", No-Drill Blinds may not fit properly.
- The No-Drill Blinds option is only available for Inside Mount, and require 2 3/4" of depth to install. They are not recommended for use with PVC or metal window frames.
- Factory will deduct approximately 1/8" off the width of the No-Drill Blinds headrail.
- The locking mechanism on all No-Drill blind headrails is located on the left side and is tightened and loosened using the provided Allen key.
Good to Know
- The lift cord for products ordered with Continuous Cord Loop will come color coordinated
- Headrail and bottom rail will be color coordinated
- The safety device is required by law and must be applied on chain loops and prevents free-hanging loops in operating chains. Install the safety device at the maximum distance possible from the control mechanism to prevent slack in the loop.
- The back of the room darkening fabrics, comes white to conform with HOA standards.

Remote Motorization
- Includes rechargeable motor battery, 10' USB cable charger and charging brick. .
- Offering single-channel and multi-channel remotes.
- Motorized options are powered by rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, which will be shipped at or below 30% charge for safety. Fully charge your shades before use for optimal performance.
Motorized Wand
- Wand control Micro USB cable plugs into the top of the headrail for easy operation. The backside of wand has a Micro USB charge port for easy access to charge your shade. The shade is functional while in charging mode.
- Rechargeable Motorized Wand includes rechargeable motor battery, 10' USB cable charger and charging brick.
- Battery charge will last 3-6 months. Battery can be recharged up to 500 times. It takes approximately 7 hours to recharge the motor when fully depleted.
- Wand length is based on height of shade.
- Motorized options are powered by rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, which will be shipped at or below 30% charge for safety. Fully charge your shades before use for optimal performance.

Inside Mount Instructions
To ensure an inside mount will work for your window, start by checking that you have enough mounting depth. You can find the exact requirements under the “Specifications” tab on the product page of the item you are considering.
Measuring the Width
- The width measurement is taken from the inside edge of the window frame at the top.
- If you are getting a 1/16” or 1/32” increment, round down to the nearest 1/8”. (For example, if the smallest measurement is 24 9/16", round down to 24 1/2". If it's 24 3/8", no need to round down.)
- This will be the width you order.
Measuring the Height
- The height measurement is taken from the window frame in three places (top left, center, and top right down to the window sill).
- Record the largest height out of the 3 measurements up to the nearest 1/8”.
- If you are getting a 1/16” or 1/32” increment, round up to the nearest 1/8”. (For Example, If the largest measurement is 24 9/16", round up to 24 5/8". If it's 24 1/2", no need to round up.)
- This will be the height you order.
Outside Mount Instructions
An outside mount is a great choice for better light coverage, since it fully covers the window and frame. To get the right fit, you’ll need to account for a few extra measurements when placing your order. We’ll custom make your shade to the exact dimensions you provide—no automatic additions are made.
Flat Surface Requirements
Start by choosing where you’d like to mount your shade. You’ll need at least 1-2½” of flat mounting space. For more details, check the product page and review the “Specifications” tab.
Measuring the Width
- When measuring the window’s width, take the measurement at the top of the window frame.
- You’ll use that measurement and add the recommended minimum of 4 inches. This will ensure the window is properly covered.
- Now you have the perfect width and you’re ready to order.
Measuring the Height
- When measuring the window’s height, take it from three locations: the left, center, and the right.
- You’ll use the largest of the three measurements and add the recommended minimum of 4 inches. This will ensure the window is properly covered.

Measuring Tips
- Use a steel measuring tape
- If you get a 1/16" or 1/32" increment for width, round down to the nearest 1/8"
