We are so “wowed” with the results of this year’s Fall One Room Challenge[icon name=”trademark” class=”” unprefixed_class=””] (ORC) and the AH-mazing designers we had the opportunity to work with that we’re breaking up this blog into two parts to give everyone the attention they deserve!
This was our first year as an official sponsor of the annual online design lollapalooza that has taken IG by storm. Now in its fourteenth season, this twice-yearly unique celebration of creativity, inspiration and original ideas follows 20 talented designers through a 6-week transformation of a single space, from design boards to demolition to their gorgeously executed reveals.
Select Blinds was honored to have six of this season’s featured designers (and two guest designers) include our products in their rooms. We loved the diversity in design and style they represent, from eclectic modern mashups to a charming this-old-house Victorian vogue ([icon name=”heart” class=”” unprefixed_class=””] that monkey wallpaper in the bathroom!!!). Here are some of the gorgeous images they shared with us. We invite you to read their blogs for all the down and dirty details of their 6-week transformational journey during the Fall 2018 ORC. Enjoy!
Old Brand New (Dabito): 300SF Guesthouse
… and a functional office nook framed with our Classic Light Filtering Roman Shades
Bre Purposed (Breanna Bertolini): Open Concept Casual Living/Dining Room
Old Home Love (Candice Meredith): Kit’s “Big Girl” Room
Does the name sound familiar here? That’s because Candis and hubby Andy hosted a TV show on the DIY Network called “Old Home Love”! Watch old episodes online, on the DIY Network’s website, or check out their Instagram for inspiration that will satisfy any “Old Homies!”
One blog was not enough for this One Room Challenge, read Part II to tour with the next talented trio of featured designers. In the meantime, if you’re up to the challenge, click here for details on how to become a Guest Participant in the 2019 Spring ORC, and let us know how we can help!
