SelectBlinds.com Engages Performance-Based Marketing Company LinkShare Corporation

Phoenix, AZ (November 7, 2005) – As an extension of its current direct customer outreach initiatives, SelectBlinds.com has enlisted performance-based marketing leader LinkShare Corporation to help manage its new online affiliate marketing program.

The SelectBlinds.com partnership with LinkShare Corporation allows the company to reach thousands of potential customers and build strategic online alliances with other Web entities through performance-based partnerships.

Using proprietary tools and technologies provided and managed by LinkShare, SelectBlinds.com can now target and track topic-specific outreach mechanisms including banner ads and click-through links. LinkShare's tools and services will allow SelectBlinds.com to monitor its Web success even closer and help its customers find other appropriate items on partner sites connected to SelectBlinds.com.

"The partnership with LinkShare is two-fold," said Al Silverberg, President of SelectBlinds.com. "First we intend to reach as many consumers interested in our products when and where they want it in a non-obtrusive way. Second, as an online company, we'll also be able to help other non-competing vertical companies reach our customers with time- and topic-appropriate services and products."

SelectBlinds.com is one of the Internet's largest and the fastest growing retailers of quality blinds and shades and its products regularly appear on ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The Web only company will directly benefit from the LinkShare partnership through its cost-effective approach and also allow it to generate additional revenue when customers "click and buy" at other affiliate and merchant sites.

"With its exposure through leading television partnerships and a strong Web presence, SelectBlinds.com is a leader in the rapidly growing home improvement space," said Heidi S. Messer, President and COO of LinkShare Corporation. "Using LinkShare affiliate marketing, SelectBlinds.com will have the ability to expand their reach online through widespread performance-based partnerships."

How LinkShare Affiliate Programs Work
An "affiliate" is sales partner who promotes a "merchant" in exchange for a commission on leads or sales paid by the merchant. Affiliates act as a "virtual sales forceTM" for merchants, and LinkShare is the trusted third party that brings the parties together. LinkShare tracks and reports on every ad or placement, and provides proprietary services and tools to help merchants optimize their performance. Merchants pay affiliates only when a commissionable action occurs—such as a sale or generation of a customer lead. Merchants receive a tool to help acquire new customers cost-effectively, and affiliates receive the opportunity to work with hundreds of leading online merchants to help efficiently monetize their site traffic.
