Horizontal Blinds
	Mounting bracket The horizontal blinds mounting bracket is the same for inside and outside mount blinds. The Mounting bracket for horizontal blinds may be used to mount the blinds to either the wall or the ceiling simply by just using the holes provided on the top or sides of the bracket. One side is hinged to allow for blind installation.

View 1 View 2	Extension bracket Extension brackets are used to push an outside mount further away from the wall.
View 1 View 2	Hold down bracket Hold down brackets are mounted to the door or wall and attach to the blind or shade. They are used to secure the bottom of the blind.
View 1 View 2	Lift cord mechanism Located inside the headrail, the lift cord mechanism is used to raise and lower horizontal blinds.
View 1 View 2	Center support bracket The center support bracket is used for large blinds. It is mounted at the center of the blinds to hold the blind headrail and support it in the middle. It can be mounted to the ceiling or wall.
View 1 View 2	Hold down bracket Hold down brackets are mounted to the door or wall and attach to the blind or shade. They are used to secure the bottom of the blind.

Vertical Blinds
View 1 View 2	Large Mounting bracket Vertical blinds headrail for the "outside mount" have an L-shaped piece that mounts to the wall with a small flange that attaches to the blind headrail. Inside mount only requires the flange to be sent. Because of the light weight of the blind and the easy sliding motion there is not a lot of stress put on the mounting hardware. The small flange is mounted directly into the ceiling or top of the window sill to mount the vertical blinds.

Honeycomb Shades
View 1 View 2	Mounting bracket The honeycomb shade mounting brackets may be mounted through the back side of the bracket to a wall for an outside mount or through the top for an inside mount. Once the brackets are installed, simply snap the honeycomb shades headrail into the bracket by tilting the headrail at an angle then press up the back of the shade headrail into the brackets.

Roller Shades
View 1 View 1	Spring roller shade inside mounting bracket Spring roller mounting brackets only require two screws per side. Be sure to screw them into the wall so that the bracket with the easy mount slide in slot is on the left so that you can slide the blind in and down for a secure fit. The outside/ceiling mount brackets have holes on the sides and top for mounting convenience. You can use either the holes on the side or top but only need two screws per side for a secure mount.
View 1 View 2	Spring roller shade mechanism The spring side of the roller shade is the mechanism used to raise and lower the shade. This piece is concealed by the drum around which the shade rests. You will not see this piece unless you take your shade apart. SelectBlinds does not sell individual parts. If you bought your roller shade from us and need a part replaced we will send them to you. The fixed side of the roller shade acts as a plug to hold the spring in place during the raising and lowering functions of the shade. This piece is concealed by the drum around which the shade rests. You will not see this piece unless you take your shade apart.

	Roller shade chain and cord hold down A cord hold down is used to hold the bottom of the blind or shade cord in place. This is most often used on continuous cord loop shades such as the cord roller shades or bamboo shades to keep the cord from dangling and provide protection for small children.
