Features and options
A popular option in shades for letting in light is the top down bottom up feature. Like a standard shade you can of course raise the bottom up, but unlike a normal shade you can also lower the top down. This feature on your window shades gives you much more control of how the light gets into your room, as well as how much of your room can be seen from the outside. This is great for bedrooms where you want to wake up to the morning sun, and still maintain privacy for your room. The shades will be made with two sets of controls, one on each side. This feature works in the exact same manner on bamboo shades as it does on our cellular shades.
To finish off the look of elegance, all of our Bamboo/Woven Wood Shades come standard with an attached matching valance.
Continuous cord loop is highly recommended for large shades as it is a stronger lift mechanism. It is also a great option for any size shade when trying to avoid dangling cords, and adding an extra child-safety feature. Continuous cord also provides an uncluttered look, as the color coordinated beaded chain remains the same length at all times.
Edge binding will enhance the look of your already beautiful natural wood shade. The many color options of edge binding will allow you to transform your shade into a piece of furniture that will fit right in with your room décor.
For a streamline appearance for those large windows, choose the 2 or 3 shades on one headrail option. The shades will be made with one valance to cover the multiple shades on one headrail. You will be allowed to choose the width of each shade and the control position.
Liners are recommended for any room where privacy and light blockage are major factors, such as bedrooms, theater rooms, and game rooms. Liners also provide superior insulation than the shade alone.
