This was my first order from Select Blind and absolutely love my new blinds. I ordered them for almost every room in the house and will be ordering more for the rest of the hosue.

These blinds took a little while to ship, however, once they arrived we were quite happy with them. They were made to exact measurements which were custom done. The fabric is soft and thick and filters light very well. The top-down option was well worth the extra cost. We can allow sunlight without exposing out home to passersby. The installation was easy and the shades matched my white-white trim as well.

The blinds arrived very quickly and were easy to install. They are lightweight, go up and down easily and provide what I needed. I was looking for light filtering behind some drapes and I notice that they also insulate very well. We could immediately feel the difference while standing in front of them.

Cellular Shades - Outside Mount
All cellular shades except VuThru
Width:
Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame or how wide you would like the blind or shade to be.
Make sure to measure wide enough as to cover the entire window and provide maximum light gap coverage. Example: if the window opening is 72", it might be helpful to order 76". This will provide 2" coverage on each side of the window.
There is no rule on the width of blinds other than to make sure that it is wide enough to cover the opening.
Fabric will be made at ordered width and headrail will be made at ordered width plus 1/4".
Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement.
Height:
Measure the height you would like the blind to be by measuring top to bottom.
We recommend adding about 3 or 4 inches to this number to insure maximum light gap coverage and to cover the window completely.
Please be sure to know that the height measurement will always include the headrail. Example: if the height ordered is 50", this will be the height including the headrail (from the very top of the headrail to the bottom rail).
You will want to mount the headrail above the window frame. Please make a note that some windows have trim that might interfere with mounting so it's important to measure above the trim if this is the case.
