Available in your choice of three elegant fold styles. Cordless option is available for an effortless and cord-free operaton of the shade. Continuous cord loop available and recommended for ease in raising larger shades. Top down bottom option up is available.

Minimum width: 16" Maximum width: 96" Minimum height: 12" Maximum height: 96" Continous cord loop shades ordered as outside mount are supplied with a 6" valance to concel control. Minimum length for continuous cord loop is 24". Cordless option available in shades between 18" and 84" in width and height. Headrail dimensions - 3/4" high x 1 3/4" deep. Factory will deduct 3/8" on all inside mount orders to ensure a proper fit. Multiple shade orders of different heights may not have the same size pleats. It is always recommended to order all shades using the longest length in the room. Shades over 50" wide will have vertical seams. 1" x 1" L Brackets standard for outside mount. Pull cord is half the finished height of shade. Headrail is pre-drilled for easy installation for inside mount. Fabric color can vary from one dye lot to another. To ensure that all materials are from the same dye lot, please order at the same time. Hold down brackets are not available on this product. Flush mounting space required for inside mount 2". Minimum mounting space required for inside mount is 1 1/4". Outside mount shades ordered with top down bottom up and continuous cord loop will be 1" wider than the width ordered. Shades with top down bottom up come standard with a 6” valance to conceal controls. Shades under 24” wide and over 71” wide are not available with top down bottom up option. Shades under 24” wide are not available with top down bottom up option.

I ordered roman shades for two large windows with OUTSIDE mounts. I preferred SelectBlinds' fabric selections over JC Penneys, Sears, and others I compared. Two concerns: the design/manufacture of the Roman shades "pull-up" system seems flimsy. I'm gentle with items in my home; but if these were used regularly by a family I don't think they'd last very long. Next, the outside mount design assumes all windows have trim around the frame. My home was built in the 60's and none of the windows have trim around them. Because of the location of eye loops used for the Roman shade design the brackets sent with the shades weren't large/long enough for installation. I had to go to the local hardware store and buy 5 other brackets for each shade installation. I also had to relocate the pulley/lock mechanism to the underside of the rail so I wouldn't have to use brackets so long that the shades hung far away from the wall to accommodate that fixture. I don't know if the average customer would have thought to make these changes if installing their own shades. I'm lucky I'm handy, and was taught to creatively fix things when growing up. Bottom line, your web site could list another option or two so the proper brackets shipped with the shades, and the pulley/lock mechanism was mounted in the best place for installation and operation. excellent value!

I ordered a house full of blinds as we moved into a new home (41 windows to be exact!). Initially, I had a consultant come out from a major department store to who me their wares and measure windows. After the estimate came back at almost $12,000, my husband encouraged me to look elsewhere. I found select blinds on line. After reviewing the products I ordered samples and was pleasantly surprised. The quality in my best estimation was of that of the major department store I received the quote from, (and in some cases, I believe it was better with more selection for color choice, etc.). I ordered from select blinds, got nicer blinds and saved over $6,000.00 dollars. I had a professional installer put them in for me for $375.00. They look terrific and I've had compliments galore. <br><br>I accidentally ordered one blind too large by one inch in the width. Select blinds gave me specific directions for return and will cut the bind down to proper size for a fraction of the original cost. An additional benefit to customers.<br><br>I would recommend select blinds to anyone. For selection, price and convenience, they can't be beat!

Very Nice Silk, Roman Shades

I was a little hesitant about the blinds, based upon the price and ordering online without an example of the product, so I ordered one as a sample. I was very pleased with the quality of the silk, the quality of the worksmanship and the operation of the shades. I ordered more of the same, (Clar silk, flat panel, Roman Shades w Blackout), for another room.

Measuring Instructions for Roman Shades

All roman shades except Fusion
Width

Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle and bottom).
Take the smallest of the three measurements.
Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.
Factory will deduct 3/8" on all inside mount orders to ensure a proper fit.

Height

Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three places.
Take the largest of the three measurements.
Write down that size making sure that it is the second number of the measurement. This is the height you will order.
Multiple shades with different lengths may not have the same size pleats. It is always recommended to order all shades using the longest length in the room.

Fusion Shades
Width

Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle and bottom).
Take the smallest of the three measurements.
Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.
*Finished dimension for shade will be 3/8" less ordered width.
If Valance is ordered, it will be 1/8" less ordered width. Must have 3 ½" depth for flush mount.

Height

Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three places.
Take the largest of the three measurements.
Write down that size making sure that it is the second number of the measurement. This is the height you will order.
Height may vary by 1/8" – 1 ½" longer than ordered drop.

*width and length measurements may vary +/- 1/8"

All roman shades except Fusion
Width

Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame or how wide you would like the blind or shade to be.
Make sure to measure wide enough as to cover the entire window and provide maximum light gap coverage. Example: If the window opening is 36", it might be helpful to order 40". This will provide 2" coverage on each side of the window.
There is no rule on the width of blinds other than to make sure that it is wide enough to cover the opening.
Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.

Height

Measure the height you would like the blind to be by measuring top to bottom.
We recommend adding about 3 or 4 inches to this number to insure maximum light gap coverage and to cover the window completely.
Please be sure to know that the height measurement will always include the headrail. Example: if the height ordered is 50" this will be the height including the headrail (from the very top of the headrail to the bottom rail).
You will want to mount the headrail above the window frame. Please make a note that some windows have trim that might interfere with mounting so it's important to measure above the trim if this is the case.

Fusion Shades
