Overall these blinds are great and we are planning to order more. We ordered them for our sons room to keep the neighbors headlights from shining in durning the winter while they let their truck warm up in the mornings and they do a great job in blocking the lights. Even their Christmas lights no longer shine in all night when they forget to turn them off! Would you recommend this product to a friend? We just don't like the fact that you reduced the size of the shades by a 1/2 inch. We had carefully measured the window opening and didn't expect to have such a gap on the sides of the shades.
