I purchased my blinds for my 1890's Victorian Farmhouse. They were easy enough to install without complication. They have been up now over a month and I noticed they squeek when rolling them up and down. One of them fights me to roll it up but I always win. Overall, the price is great and the look is perfect. From the exterior, the fancy edges look aged which fit my 120 year old house perfectly! I've purchased from Select Blinds many times and have always had great customer service.
I would recommend these to anybody looking to block
80 percent of direct sun light. If you need to block
more buy a 5 percent opening instead of the 20 that this proudct is.
It is one of the best product out there to cut the heat of the sun comming in. I can see out but you can only see shadows looking in during the day. I want to buy some for every window in my home.
These roller blinds are perfect for our kitchen - they are completely hidden when up and no cords!
I thought I had been told that the shades came w/a valance to cover up the roller part, so was a little disappointed about that. Also thought they would be more light filtering.
