Continous cord loop shades ordered as outside mount are supplied with a 6" valance to concel control. Top down / bottom up shades come with 2 sets of lift cords. One on the right and one on the left. Headrail dimensions - 3/4" high x 1 3/4" deep. Factory will deduct 3/8" on all inside mount orders to ensure a proper fit. Top Down / Bottom Up headrail dimension - 3/4" high x 2 1/2" deep. Multiple shade orders of different heights may not have the same size pleats. It is always recommended to order all shades using the longest length in the room. Shades over 50" wide will have vertical seams. 1" x 1" L Brackets standard. Pull cord is half the finished height of shade. Headrail is pre-drilled for easy inside mount installation. Fabric color can vary from one dye lot to another. To ensure that all materials are from the same dye lot, please order at the same time. Hold down brackets are not available on this product.

Good but Cust Service needs help by Mamma of 4 from St. Louis, MO Overall Rating: Appearance: Construction: Installation: Value: First of all, I would like to say that I do really like my new Roman blinds. These were for my kitchen. The installation was fairly easy (could always use that 3rd hand), fine quality and price, nice packaging for shipping, fairly good email communication (was notified at 14 days that my order would take longer; but not notified when they actually did ship). However, there are several items which could be improved (only 3 stars). I ordered fabric samples for my product. I called customer service to verify the correct side of the material before I placed my order. The blinds arrived made with what I was told was the back side of the material. I called customer service and asked which was the correct material side and was told the same answer as before and then I explained that my blinds were made the opposite way. The representative then changed her answer to match what I received (and looked on line and thought that the blinds were made the correct way), so if I ordered them again, they would be made the same. Some of the samples I received had the sticker on the front of the material and some were apparently on the back. I installed them anyway and the material 'back' side is acceptable. I was also told that they would come with a small valance (and they did not - only the TDBU came with a valance). By ordering the samples, I was covered under the guarantee, but caution others to either triple check or at least order samples so that you can return them if the 'other' material side is not as acceptable. It took over 3 weeks before my order came in, which was a little longer than I expected and my entire order was made in Mexico. Also I would also question the compliance to child safety guidelines. These blinds have long pull cords that are NOT on separate pulls or have break apart pulls. The 2-3 cords are knotted about every 5" and have one single pull at the end through which all cords run into. There is the plastic stop 'eye' at the top (closed position). 5" may not be enough to get a child's head into, but they could still get their arm in it. I ordered a free retrofit kit at www.windowcoverings.org as I plan to go ahead and separate cords (I did not like the knots and have small children with long windows). I would recommend them to a friend mainly for the price/value but would explain my 'problem' issues. I would order again from them again, as long as the price was good and I ordered samples.
