This is the 2nd cordless top down bottom up shade I have purchased from Select Blinds - I also have 3 other corded top down bottom up and getting ready to order another cordless shade after I write this review. Each purchase was easy and watching the video on installation made me an expert installer. The blinds are beautiful.

We were going to order blinds for our whole house when Selectblinds had a buy 3 get 1 free sale. However, what they didn't tell you is that you could only get one free per household. We went as far as to put an order in, pay for it, and then try to make another order for the same promotion. We ended up having to cancel our order and ordering from somewhere else becuase they did not tell yo uthis up frong. Very deceptive practice.
Blinds are very nice, love the color and the way they work...only thing is that I did not add a couple of inches to the length, so we had to work more to make them fit right. I really recommend that you measure twice and again when you recieve confirmation and compare lengths.

Cordless option provides an easy and effortless way of raising and lowering the shade. Cordless shades are also child safe as there are no hanging cords. Inside mount headrail will be plus 1/4". Inside mount fabric width will be ordered width less 1/2".
Height:
Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three places.
Take the largest of the three measurements.
Write down that size making sure that it is the second number of the measurement. This is the height you will order.
When the vanes are expanded (closed), the bottom rail touches the window sill. When the vanes are compressed (open), the bottom rail may lift off the sill slightly. This is normal.
How to Measure EcoTrack Products
EcoTrack products are available as inside mount only.
Width:
Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in 3 places (top, middle, and bottom).
Take the smallest of the 3 measurements; this is the width that you will order.
Factory will make the following deductions: o Headrails: 1" less than width ordered. o Fabric: 1 1/8" less than width ordered.
Mounting requirements: o Minimum inside mount depth: 1 ½". o Flush inside mount: 2".
Height:
Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in 3 places.
Take the largest of the 3 measurements; this is the height that you will order.
Factory will make the following deductions: o The side tracks will be 1/8" shorter than the height ordered.

Cellular Shades - Outside Mount

Width:
Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame or how wide you would like the blind or shade to be.
Make sure to measure wide enough as to cover the entire window and provide maximum light gap coverage. Example: if the window opening is 72", it might be helpful to order 76". This will provide 2" coverage on each side of the window.
There is no rule on the width of blinds other than to make sure that it is wide enough to cover the opening.
Fabric will be made at ordered width and headrail will be made at ordered width plus 1/4".
Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement.
Height:
Measure the height you would like the blind to be by measuring top to bottom.
We recommend adding about 3 or 4 inches to this number to insure maximum light gap coverage and to cover the window completely.
Please be sure to know that the height measurement will always include the headrail. Example: if the height ordered is 50", this will be the height including the headrail (from the very top of the headrail to the bottom rail).
You will want to mount the headrail above the window frame. Please make a note that some windows have trim that might interfere with mounting so it's important to measure above the trim if this is the case.
