1/2" deduction is taken on all inside mount orders to allow for all hardware and ensure a proper fit.
Shades ordered as outside mounts will arrive at the ordered width dimension.
Because of the natural fiber composition of this product stretching and or shrinkage may occur. Therefore there is a tolerance of + or - 1 1/2" in length of all shades.
Minimum depth for inside flush mount for standard shade = 2 1/4".
Minimum depth for a flush mount with the continuous cord loop option = 4 1/4".
Headrail Dimensions = 1 1/2" x 3/4".
Valance returns standard with outside mount shades, 1 3/4" W x 7" H.
When 2" edge binding is selected 1" of fabric will show on each side of shade. When 4" edge binding is selected 2" of fabric will show on each side of shade.
Privacy and blackout liners will be white to the outside, the liner color will show on the inside facing side.

The bamboo blinds are great, very well made. I ordered three blinds on one head rail. The measurements were perfect. They fit like they were custom made. I looked at blinds at other stores, they were all twice the price. I am very happy with this purchase. This is my fourth purchase, all very successful.

great blinds don't do top down bottom up

I have order many products from this website and have been pleased with all of them. Easy to install, good quality and no problems. I would not recommend the top down bottom up feature with bamboo shades. The shades do not accordian like a pleated shade would and it makes a messy appearance. The blinds are great and I would order them again I would just not choose this upgrade with this type of blind.

Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle and bottom).
Take the smallest of the three measurements.
Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.
*production department will deduct 1/4 inch of width on each side of blind, total of 1/2 inch on inside mounted blinds to allow for mounting brackets.
Height
Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three places.
Take the largest of the three measurements.
Write down that size making sure that it is the second number of the measurement. This is the height you will order.

Width
Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame or how wide you would like the blind or shade to be.
Make sure to measure wide enough as to cover the entire window and provide maximum light gap coverage. Example: If the window opening is 36", it might be helpful to order 40". This will provide 2" coverage on each side of the window.
There is no rule on the width of blinds other than to make sure that it is wide enough to cover the opening.
Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.
Height
Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three places.
We recommend adding about 3 or 4 inches to this number to insure maximum light gap coverage and to cover the window completely.
You will want to mount the headrail above the window frame. Please make a note that some windows have trim that might interfere with mounting so it's important to measure above the trim if this is the case.
