These blinds are beautiful and very well constructed. An excellent product. However, I did have to drill new holes in order to mount them into studs.

I ordered the bamboo blinds over the computer. They should have been delivered by the time the company called and said they could not make them the way I ordered with the blackout liner. If you can't do it that way why does the computer let you order them? It was a standard option. And why did it take so long to get with me and inform me of the problem? It was so easy to order on the internet I would have used this company for the rest of the house.

Extreme Woven Wood Shades offer an exotic natural look to any decor. Started from the finest natural materials and then hand-woven, this premium collection gives a vast selection of today's most popular woven wood fabrics. The Extreme Woven wood fabrics are made from weaves and grasses of traditional bamboo and matchsticks that will offer an exotic finish to any window. Woven Woods filter light rather than block the light. For added privacy and light blockage, liner can be added. Available in 21 patterns, with both 2" and 4" edge binding available as an option, you can really customize these natural wood shades to fit the personality of any room. As with all of our products, these shades come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Specifications

  • Minimum width: 10"
  • Maximum width: 96"
  • Minimum height: 12"
  • Maximum height: 120"
  • 1/2" deduction is taken on all inside mount orders to allow for all hardware and ensure a proper fit.
  • Shades ordered as outside mounts will arrive at the ordered width dimension.
  • Because of the natural fiber composition of this product, stretching may occur. Therefore, there is a tolerance of + or - 1 1/2" in length of all shades.
  • Minimum depth for inside mount and flush mount for standard shade = 2 1/4 inches
  • Minimum depth for a flush mount with the continuous cord loop option = 4 1/4"
  • Headrail Dimensions = 1 1/2" x 3/4", oversize headrail - 2 3/4" x 3/4" ( all shades ordered with cc-loop will be on oversized headrail.
  • Valance returns standard with outside mount shades, 1 3/4" W x 7" H.
  • When 2" edge binding is selected 1" of fabric will show on each side of shade. When 4" edge binding is selected 2" of fabric will show on each side of shade.
  • Privacy and blackout liners will be white to the outside, the liner color will show on the inside facing side.
  • Please note:This is a natural product and colors will vary season to season.It may not be possible to match previous orders.
  • Outside mounts will come with hold down brackets

Measuring Instructions For

Inside Mount
- Inside Mount

Width:
  • Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle and bottom).
  • Take the smallest of the three measurements.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.
    • *production department will deduct 1/4 inch of width on each side of blind, total of 1/2 inch on inside mounted blinds to allow for mounting brackets.

Height:
  • Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three places.
  • Take the largest of the three measurements.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the second number of the measurement. This is the height you will order.

Measuring Instructions For

Outside Mount
- Outside Mount

Width:
  • Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame or how wide you would like the blind or shade to be.
  • Make sure to measure wide enough as to cover the entire window and provide maximum light gap coverage. Example: If the window opening is 36", it might be helpful to order 40". This will provide 2" coverage on each side of the window.
  • There is no rule on the width of blinds other than to make sure that it is wide enough to cover the opening.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.

Height:
  • Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three places.
  • We recommend adding about 3 or 4 inches to this number to insure maximum light gap coverage and to cover the window completely.
  • You will want to mount the headrail above the window frame. Please make a note that some windows have trim that might interfere with mounting so it's important to measure above the trim if this is the case.
    • *width and length measurements may vary +/- 1/8"
