Recommendations IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If any No-Drill Blinds option is chosen, take all three standard width measurements (top, middle, bottom) to check for variance, but be sure to input the exact measurement of the top of your window frame into the width field. Compare the three measurements, and if the variance between them exceeds 1/4", No-Drill Blinds may not fit properly. The Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds and Built In No-Drill Blinds options are only available for Inside Mount, and require 2 1/2" of depth to install. They are not recommended for use with PVC or metal window frames. Factory will deduct approximately 5/8" off the width of the Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds headrail, and 1/4" off the width of the Built In No-Drill Blinds headrail. The locking mechanism will be located on the right side for Cordless and Motorized options. Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds headrail is only available in the color white and will be visible after installation, with or without valance. The Built In No-Drill Blinds headrail is fabric wrapped to match the material of the shade, and is not visible after installation. All shades ordered with the Built In No-Drill Blinds headrail will have a small amount of excess fabric on the side of the shade to cover the locking mechanism and minimize light gaps. The safety device is required by law and must be applied on chain loops and prevents free-hanging loops in operating chains. Install the safety device at the maximum distance possible from the control mechanism to prevent slack in the loop. Returns are only included with outside mounted products ordered with the 6" valance upgrade. Returns are not available for inside mounted products. Woven Wood shades ordered without the 6" valance upgrade include a discreet mini-valance (~3.5" / 9 cm) attached to the back of the shade, designed to conceal the operating mechanism. Always lift and lower cordless products with both hands to avoid unleveling and the need for re-leveling. Deductions may vary +/- 1/8". Do not account for factory deductions when measuring for your shade. Deduction information detailed in the table below. Outside mount orders with a valance may arrive with an additional 1/2” to 1" (+/- 1/8") due to valance returns. When any No-Drill Blinds headrail is ordered, factory will deduct 1/2” off of the width and height of your fabric. Since this is a natural product, colors may vary slightly from dye lot to dye lot. (Seasons can change the color of the reeds, grasses, etc.) If ordering for an entire room, we recommend ordering all of your shades at the same time to ensure they all come from the same dye lot. Natural products ordered without edge binding or a liner can be more susceptible to fraying. For enhanced durability, consider adding one or both of these upgrades. With the edge binding upgrade, there will be a 1" border on each side of the shade. Liner upgrades will come with a pre-selected liner color to coordinate to the chosen fabric, the liner is visible from the street. When no liner is chosen, woven wood shades may allow visibility through depending on the lighting. Due to the natural characteristics of this product, the finished height may vary +/- 1/2" from ordered height. Material will always cover a portion of your window, even when fully raised. Please call in for considerations. Motorized options are powered by rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, which will be shipped at or below 30% charge for safety. All that is required is to connect the battery to the motor and your shade is ready to operate. Rechargeable remote-control Motorization lift system upgrade includes rechargeable motor battery and charger. Motorization limits are preset during production. Motorization Instructions Battery charge will last up to 6 months based on an average-sized shade raised and lowered twice a day. It takes approximately 4 hours to recharge the motor when fully depleted. Remote reaches from approximately 65-80 feet away from shade. At least one remote is needed per order. The 5-channel remote allows you to operate up to 5 shades on a single frequency and the 15-channel remote allows you to operate up to 15 shades on a single frequency.
