Inside mount means the window coverings will be mounted and hung on the inside of the window frame, or the ceiling. Not recommended for shallow windowsills. Outside mount means the window coverings will be mounted and hung outside of the window frame, making it ideal for shallow windowsills or for more complete light blockage by reducing the halo effect.

Recommendations

  • Order a cassette for a clean, uncluttered look.
  • Cassette will be white and fabric wrapped based on fabric chosen. The exposed bottom rail will be white.
  • Cordless lift, exposed roll or cassette: Fabric width will be approximately 1-1/8" smaller than ordered width on inside mounted shades, and 3/4" smaller than ordered width on outside mounted shades. Deductions taken at factory.
  • Motorized lift, exposed roll or cassette: Fabric width will be approximately 1-7/8" smaller than ordered width on inside mounted shades and 1-1/2" smaller than ordered width on outside mounted shades. Deductions taken at factory.
  • Inside Mount: 1/4" deduction off headrail with cassette or exposed roll.
  • Deductions may vary +/- 1/8.
  • Do not attempt to compensate for the fabric deductions taken during manufacturing for inside mount applications. Adjusting the measurement could result in the shade not fitting inside the window opening. Some lift systems require more room on the roller to operate, resulting in a slightly larger light gap on one side.
  • Motorized options for this product are not covered under our FIT Guarantee.
  • No-Drill Blinds Headrail is only available in the color white and will be visible after installation.
  • Sun control product. Not a privacy shade.

Motorization Details

  • Remote is already programmed to the motorized shade. All that is required is to connect the battery to the motor and your shade is ready to operate.
  • Rechargeable remote-control Motorization lift system upgrade includes rechargeable motor battery and charger.
Motorization Instructions
  • Battery charge will last up to 6 months based on an average-sized shade raised and lowered twice a day. It takes approximately 4 hours to recharge the motor when fully depleted.
  • Remote reaches from approximately 65-80 feet away from shade.
  • At least one remote is needed per order. The 5-channel remote allows you to operate up to 5 shades on a single frequency. When adding a multi-channel/frequency remote, please select 'No Remote' for any additional motorized shades you want to add and power with.
