Recommendations Deductions may vary +/- 1/8". Do not account for factory deductions when measuring for your shade. Fabric slats on the shade are 100% polyester. Headrails and cassettes are color coordinated with a coordinated fabric insert. For all mounting types, fabric will measure exactly the length ordered when the vanes are in the closed position. When the vanes are rotated open, the shade will become slightly longer. The inherent nature of the dual fabrics used to make this product prevent complete light blockage when the vanes are closed. You will notice an increase in light between the sheer front and the back fabric toward the bottom of the shade. This product is not intended to block out 100% of the light. Small gaps between the fabric slats may still allow for some incoming light. The safety device is required by law and must be applied on chain loops and prevents free-hanging loops in operating chains. Install the safety device at the maximum distance possible from the control mechanism to prevent slack in the loop. Motorization Instructions Battery charge will last ~6-12 months based on an average-sized shade raised and lowered once a day. Battery can be recharged up to 500 times. It takes approximately 5 hours to recharge the motor when fully depleted. Motorization will need a one 5-channel remote, including one 3V battery, that can power up to five (5) individual or five groups of window treatments. Remote range is ~80'. (Do not let antenna on headrail motor touch any metal objects, as this may interfere with signals from the remote control.) At least one remote per room is recommended. Motorized products installed in windows with metal casings may have a reduced radio frequency range, or may not operate at all, depending on the application.
