Recommendations IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If any No-Drill Blinds option is chosen, take all three standard width measurements (top, middle, bottom) to check for variance, but be sure to input the exact measurement of the top of your window frame into the width field. Compare the three measurements, and if the variance between them exceeds 1/4", No-Drill Blinds may not fit properly. The Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds and Built In No-Drill Blinds options are only available for Inside Mount, and require 2 1/2" of depth to install. They are not recommended for use with PVC or metal window frames. Factory will deduct approximately 5/8" off the width of the Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds headrail, and 1/4" off the width of the Built In No-Drill Blinds headrail. Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds headrail is only available in the color white and will be visible after installation, with or without valance. The Built In No-Drill Blinds headrail is fabric wrapped to match the material of the shade, and is not visible after installation. The locking mechanism on all No-Drill Blinds Headrails will be located on the opposite end of the control side selected for Continuous Cord Loop. The locking mechanism will be located on the right side for Cordless and Motorized options. All shades ordered with the Built In No-Drill Blinds will have a small amount of excess fabric on the side of the shade to cover the locking mechanism and minimize light gaps. The safety device is required by law and must be applied on chain loops and prevents free-hanging loops in operating chains. Install the safety device at the maximum distance possible from the control mechanism to prevent slack in the loop. Fabric Roman shades may have wrinkles in the material after installation. Most minor wrinkling will smooth out over several days. For quicker results, you can use a garment steamer on the back of the shade, being careful to avoid direct contact with the fabric. Liners, cord shroud, & rod pocket at the back of the shade are generally a light cream color, which may contrast with darker fabric selections; please consider this when placing your order. Motorized options are powered by rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, which will be shipped at or below 30% charge for safety. Fully charge your shades before use for optimal performance. Deductions may vary +/- 1/8". Do not account for factory deductions when measuring for your shade. Deduction information detailed in the table below. Fabric color can vary from one dye lot to another. To ensure that all materials are from the same dye lot, please order shades for the same room at the same time. Multiple shade orders of different heights may not have the same size pleats. We recommend ordering all shades using the longest length in the room and with the same lift system. Fabric-wrapped headrails come with upgraded Cordless lift only. Continuous cord loop and Motorized lift options have metal headrails with fabric attached to front only. If the 6" valance upgrade is chosen, the fabric will fall behind the headrail, closer to the wall and valance will cover the headrail. Only Outside Mount shades ordered with a 6" valance will include valance returns. When no valance is selected fabric will fall over the top of the headrail (waterfall style), and can be 2+ inches from the wall on outside mount. We recommend 4+ inches be added to the width of your shade when outside mounting to prevent light gaps. Cordless Roman shades ordered without the 6" valance upgrade include a discreet mini-valance (~2.3" / 6 cm) attached to the back of the shade, designed to conceal the operating mechanism. The mini-valance on the back of the Cordless shades will be the color of the chosen liner, or the color of the shade if no liner is chosen. Optional blackout liner comes standard ivory, and both standard and blackout liner colors will be visible from street. Color of unlined shades will be seen from exterior. Hold down brackets are not available on this product. Always lift and lower cordless products with both hands to avoid unleveling and the need for re-leveling. Motorization Instructions Rechargeable remote-control Motorization lift system upgrade includes rechargeable motor battery and charger. Battery charge will last up to 6 months based on an average-sized shade raised and lowered twice a day. It takes approximately 4 hours to recharge the motor when fully depleted. Remote reaches from approximately 65-80 feet away from shade. Remote is already programmed to the motorized shade.
