Motorized options are powered by rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, which will be shipped at or below 30% charge for safety. Fully charge your shades before use for optimal performance. The safety device is required by law and must be applied on chain loops and prevents free-hanging loops in operating chains. Install the safety device at the maximum distance possible from the control mechanism to prevent slack in the loop. Cassette will be color-coordinated based on fabric chosen. Motorization lift system upgrade does not include remote. At least one remote is needed per order. Battery charge will last ~6-9 months based on an average-sized shade raised and lowered once a day. Battery can be recharged up to 500 times. It takes approximately 4-6 hours to recharge the motor when fully depleted. The battery uses a 5 volt charger, which requires a standard power outlet to recharge the battery. Kit includes both magnetic and standard charging cables, the charger is white and comes with a 120” wire. Motorization Instructions Motorized products installed in windows with metal casings may have a reduced radio frequency range, or may not operate at all, depending on the application. Upper and lower limits come preprogrammed. Remotes do not come preprogrammed, refer to the installation guide on how to program your remote to your liking.
