Recommendations Factory applies an additional 1/8" Inside Mount Deduction (IMD) for inside mount shades. No additional deduction is taken for outside mounts. Use the top width measurement and round down to the nearest 1/16". Fabric width is 3 1/4" narrower than the order width. Provide at least 1/4" clearance beyond any obstructions to the hem bar (e.g., flashing or bolt heads). These fabrics are not privacy shades and may allow visibility through them depending on lighting conditions. For Exposed Roll and Cable Guide applications, order width should be measured bracket to bracket (outside to outside). Inside Mount shades come standard with ceiling mount brackets; outside mount shades come standard with wall mount brackets. The cable guide system stabilizes the shade using stainless steel cables, helping prevent movement from wind or outdoor elements. Avoid overlapping fabric onto rough surfaces like stucco or stone, as this may cause wear or damage if the shade remains lowered. All fabrics are lead-free and offer 95% to 97% UV Protection.
