Inside mounted shutters mount to the inside of the window casing, and depending on your frame selection, could cover the window molding. -

Written Instructions
Measuring the width
- Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle, and bottom)
- Record the smallest width of the three measurements
- For 1/16” or 1/32” increments, round down to the nearest 1/8”. (For example, if the smallest measurement is 24 9/16," round down to 24 1/2". If it's 24 3/8", no need to round down.)
- This is the width you will order
Measuring the height
- Measure the exact height (top to bottom) of the window opening in three places (left, center, right)
- Record the smallest height of the three measurements
- For increments of 1/16” or 1/32”, round down to the nearest 1/8”. (For example, if the smallest measurement is 24 9/16," round down to 24 1/2". If it's 24 3/8", no need to round down.)
- This will be the height you will order
Our factory will make all necessary deductions to the exact window measurements you provide us to ensure your product will fit and operate perfectly in your window. Do not make your own deductions. Do not add to the width to make up for any deductions.

Since outside mount covers the entire window opening and frame, there are additions you will need add to make your order the correct size.
Measuring the width
- Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in 3 places (top, middle, and bottom)
- Record the largest width of the 3 measurements
- If you are getting an increment of 1/16” or 1/32”, round up to the nearest 1/8”
- You will add the frame dimensions to this size
Measuring the height
- Measure the exact height (top to bottom) of the window opening in 3 places (left, center, right)
- Record the largest height of the 3 measurements
- If you are getting an increment of 1/16” or 1/32”, round up to the nearest 1/8”
- You will add the frame measurements to this size
To mount directly around the window opening use inside measurements plus the additions detailed in the specifications of the product you are measuring for.
