Inside mount means the window coverings will be mounted and hung on the inside of the window frame, or the ceiling. Not recommended for shallow windowsills. Outside mount means the window coverings will be mounted and hung outside of the window frame, making it ideal for shallow windowsills or for more complete light blockage by reducing the halo effect.

Recommendations

  • Inside mount: Additional 1/4"  headrail deduction, with additional 3/8" deduction on fabric.
  • Deductions may vary +/- 1/8.
  • Adding hold down brackets to inside mounted shades will increase headrail deduction to 1/2". This is done to make room for the hold down brackets.
  • Standard inside mount brackets are top mounted. Side mounting brackets available upon request for cordless shades less than 48" wide.
  • All lift systems will have matching fabric-wrapped rails

Very Nice Shades



We are very happy with these shades. The blackout portion certainly lives up to its name. The build is of high quality and materials. Measurements were also true. Nice to see that they screws that came with these have hex heads in addition to the phillips grooves; it helped with the installation as it was difficult to get our pilot holes completely drilled into our window frames.

I am very happy with the blinds. They definitely keep the sun and solar out. I do wish the sheer part was a little more dense but I love the fact that I can have natural light come through while making it harder for my neighbors to see inside the house. The installation of the blinds only took minutes to do!

Excellent Shades and easy to install



Bought these blackout shades for my oddly sized windows and they turned out great. Did the measuring and installation on our own and it was very easy. Been using them about a week and very happy with the quality and how they look. Excellent!

Time will tell but AOK so far!



The trishades fit exactly as planned as were a cinch to install. I am a bit leery about the sheer upper section as it seems a bit flimsy.
