Excellent for Privacy and Shade on a Balcony



Recommended. I selected pull down shades to avoid having a pull chain dangling down the side. The measurement instructions were straight forward. The shades arrived as ordered, even after I called them to add a couple of inches to the length to ensure they would meet the balcony rails. As the shades had not yet been fabricated, Select Blinds simply incorporated the change. The installation instructions covered several types of installation, once the clips were mounted, the shades simply snap into place. Pull down, pull briefly to retract in case of strong winds. Picked 5 % transmission for privacy.

Outdoor window shade



We love our outdoor window shade. Instructions for measuring and choosing features were easy to follow and thorough. Installation was straight forward. The shade looks beautiful and it is very effective in blocking a fierce afternoon sun on our kitchen window.

We are very pleased with our new solar shades. We get direct sun on our Florida condo lanai every day. Even with the sliding glass doors closed it makes the living room hotter and more costly to keep cool, not to mention the fading effect it has on the furniture. I had these solar shades installed on the outdoor lanai up against the inside of the screens. It makes a significant difference holding out the sun's rays - and we can still see out very well. The quality of the shades is excellent and the turnaround time from order to delivery was great.
