These are basic and clean looking for 5 large windows in my great room, especially with the reverse roll. However, the construction is VERY poor. All of the shades are inherently uneven on the roll, causing them to overoll on one side which will eventually damage the edge of the fabric from the friction. The metal rolling chain (unlike other products I’ve ordered) is not continuous and has a connector piece that prevents continuous and full unrolling. So in order to completely unroll and re-roll to even them out, you have to take the entire shade down and do it by hand. Unfortunately manual re-rolling did not fix the unevenness issue. There are also plastic protector beads placed on the chains to prevent full unrolling, however one was so grossly misplaced that it prevented the shade from covering the window and I had to break it off. Overall, pretty disappointed from prior experiences that were very good. The Roman shades from Vietnam were fantastic and spot on! It appears these came from California. Obviously big discrepancy in manufacturers and quality.
