Some blinds better than others

We ordered a few sets of lines in different colors for our new master bedroom and bathroom. The blinds used in the master bath were great. Quality of material and construction was top notch. The blinds for the master bedroom are less so. They appear to be made by a different company.? The mounting system and mechanism is completely different compared to the better quality set and do not work nearly as well. That said, they all fit as expected and installation was easy.

1 of 5 blinds I ordered was a dud. Not very good odds at these prices. Install instructions were out of date and unclear. Warranty services rep was incredibly rude. After I filed a claim they insisted on scheduling a call to repeat the troubleshooting steps, didn’t show up for the scheduled call, and rather than take any sort of responsibility, made it clear my experience didn’t matter.

Continuous Cord Loop Is not a good option

Very difficult to install this version as compared to the cordless version. After I managed to get it lined up and installed the plastic loop used to raise and lower the shade broke. Grrrrr. I managed to cobble something together and can raise it at least halfway now. I had previously purchased the cordless version and it was so easy to install. I regret buying this one.

Not what I expected

The shades that were shown were not like I thought that I ordered. The top has no valance to hide the mounts, and the pleats look different. I guess that I should have ordered the soft pleats instead. I’m ordering the same material to make a valance.
