At the end of the install and after I got everything to work we love the shades. However they came with 2 out of 10 that actually worked out of the box. After I figured out how to take them apart (which should not need to be done) I got them put back together and to work. Customer servfice was not 100% knowledgable on the situation and was not much help. Good thing I am a handy man and remodeler so I pulled things apart to see why they were not working. Once I figured out the issue and not the customer service on the phone I was up and running. The hardware is a little cheap but it works. I had one screw actually break as I was screing it in with not a lot of tension but overall now we love the blinds. After all my problems I only received a 5% discount on the order and a 5 year warranty which I was a little disappointed with but again we now Love the blinds.

Received the shades but ALL the wrong parts. Has taken several emails with customer service and I still do not have the correct parts to be able to install this product. Extremely frustrating experience thus far.

Solar shades were installed outside to provide shade to my lanai in Northern Florida. The 3% openness shades provide excellent light coverage from the sun. However, the 3% openness does block external view because of the tight weave used to block the sun.

Not cheap, prob not worth it

I purchased these solar shades for our master bedroom. Cons: the hardware included is not compatible with the shade roll cover. I was not able to install it, and the parts included do not match the installation videos online. It was also difficult to set the proper upper and lower limits of the shade heights with the remote. Pros: the shades block out a ton of light. The remote was easy to pair. The hardware for the shade roll was easy to install. Concerns: I don’t know how long the battery will last on a full charge for the motorized shades. Conclusion: every blind company says they sell shades the cheapest but by the time you’re at checkout you’re spending over 5x the advertised price. If you want motorized shades, they’re expensive. I don’t know of a brand that is the best. These were good, but not for the price.
