We own a home-building company, and we order/install window coverings quite often. As builders often do, we also move frequently, so we've had many different window coverings through the years. We've ordered from Select Blinds several times, and we've never had problems with their product like we've had with these. First, the sizing does not match the measurements. There are large gaps on the sides. Second, some of the hardware was missing from a few boxes, and because SB does not offer hardware separately, we've been left trying to find suitable replacements on our own. Third, even with the correct hardware, installation was tricky to near impossible- even for someone who installs a lot of window coverings. Fourth, the operating strings on some units are almost impossible to move. Some require pulling so hard on them just to open the shades that two of them have actually fallen off the window. These shades do look nice, hence the two stars. But what good does that do you if they are ill-sized and almost non functional? They are affordable, so we decided we could live with the gaps on the sides. But they are pretty useless if you can't open and close them without the fear of them falling off. I would not recommend these to anyone. And as a business, we will no longer purchase from SB for our clients simply because of this unreliable product that they sold us. I'm just glad we didn't purchase these for a client's home.
