Yes, we purchased nine skylights last year. Four for a 25 foot ceiling, five for a 22 foot ceiling. We went through select blinds at the recommendation of our GC, who installed them when they arrived. It’s been a year and we hear beeping coming from the shades. The shades will no longer open or close. After looking at the troubleshooting online, we change the batteries in the remote. Thinking that this is a solution, we try again, and still, the blinds will not open or close in the beeping continues. I did an online chat with Select Blinds, and they sent me more troubleshooting solutions. The only solution to get the beeping to stop is to get up to the shade and plug in each solar battery for 4 to 6 hours. So, unless you have a way to reach the shades to recharge the solar batteries, I would not recommend them. They are beautiful and they were working wonderfully… until now. It’s been two weeks since the beeping started and we still listen to 1/2 hour to one hour of beeping every day.
