Awesome blinds and sheer shades

Decided to buy from Select Blinds instead of competition. Price was a little higher, but quality far exceeded my expectations. Will install the rest as I have only installed one window treatment as a test. Super easy, took 15 min. Saved almost $3K on the overall project as local blinds/shades store wanted that much more for similar quality. One suggestion, get yourself a laser measuring device from Amazon ($39, TACKLife) and it would be impossible to measure wrong. You will get very accurate results.

NOT room darkening

While the quality of the blinds is exceptional, the design is not. These are most definitely not room darkening shades. It is impossible to completely flatten all the vanes due to the design, but even if it was possible, they would still be light filtering. The installation instructions were a bit vague, especially in regards to leveling. If the slats were cord operated, I think they would be easier to get complete closure. Nice quality but don't block light.

Nice, but not darkening

While the shades look great, and are easy to install, they are definitely not room darkening. Light floods thru in the morning. So buy for the color, not this feature.

Bummed for sure

Its been a week and customer service is still "reviewing" my issue. Clearly these shades do NOT close properly. They only block the top 1/8th of the shade which is NOT what is shown on the website. I have given ample time for select blinds to contact me and address the issue. Also there are wrinkles at the top, when opened.
