These really do block out light



I purchased these shades for some windows that face a school. The school has parking lot lights that are lit throughout the night. It makes it very hard to sleep when your bedroom is as light as day! These shades really do block out all the light! The only exception is the space between the blinds and window edge, but it is pretty minimal. I also liked the number of colors that these blinds come in. My local hardware stores only carry black, brown, and white. I did request samples to make sure I got a good match. The samples are a great idea - please request these if you have any question about the colors.

Better sleep for us!



We purchased the Premier Blackout Cellulars from Select Blinds for the bedrooms in our new house and are very happy with these blinds. The small amount of light that shows around the edges is not enough to keep us awake and they are very attractive. The Pumice color matches our window frames nicely.

too much space on sides

blinds are great, but too much is taken away from the factory. The sun literally shines in with the blinds all the down. I recommend adding one eighth of an inch to your measurement.

Light filtering & Blackout cellular blinds



I am very pleased with my cellular blinds. The blackout blinds don’t allow any light to come through, and the light filtering give you privacy without being dark. The quality is great, and the blinds seem to be well made. We installed them ourselves, and it was very easy. I’m very happy with my purchase!
