We had ordered cellular shades from Select Blinds 11 years ago when we built our home and decided to get a new color for the master bedroom. Easy to order and easy to make a change when we decided to make one shade longer within 24 hours of ordering. Communication was great. The color we chose after viewing samples was slate blue and it’s gorgeous! The only issue we had was mounting the shade in a window that had an eyebrow curve at the top. The hardware had changed…it’s now metal and an upgrade from the plastic…but the bracket my husband used last time wouldn’t work on the new setup. The shade must be mounted from the sides rather than the top of the rail. I used the Live Chat feature and was connected with someone who was able to see my order and understand my problem and sent out the necessary side-mounting brackets asap. It delayed being able to hang the shade by a week which wasn’t a huge problem but they should have a way to order those pieces with the shade. Maybe an additional option where you choose the lockdown clips or mounting blocks would be helpful. The installation instructions show that type of mount situation but the brackets aren’t included. Just glad the customer service is so amazing! All the shades are installed and we love them!
