So to set the tone, I live in a hot city (high desert), and our sliding door is east facing and catches a lot of direct sunlight from sun-rise to about 10AM. That being said, I should have bought the "premium" blinds but did not know there was another faux wood vertical blind option. Installation was pretty easy and they fit well, but it only took about 1 week before the vertical blinds started to "bow" due to the heat (and it hasn't even been that hot yet). By the 3rd week all the blinds were "bowing" significantly. Now they bow about 2-3 inches from the middle point of the blinds to the tips. It looks bad, they don't line up properly, and they let in light because they don't stack evenly. Ultimately they would be good blinds but they do not withstand heat well. I even looked the product page to get a temperature range but none was listed that I could find. I started out "stoked" and excited with these blinds but now just upset.
