I had an outside door to my bedroom removed and drywalled over. Sent my custom cotton lined drapes for dry cleaning and the lining shredded.
Not the cleaner's fault, I live in a sunny climate state and eight years of direct sun took its toll,
Didn't know whether to have new drapes made, go to wooden shutters-but had to regain privacy fast. I self measured the 72 X 72" window and was so happy when that sturdy, cardboard box arrived. My handyman and I installed in about 30-40 minutes. Perfect fit and opening, closing, raising- easy and smooth. All installation parts included and even extra screws. It is a very modern, linear look. Don't order if you like traditional or historical type window treatments.
There is a slight bowing between the two layers about halfway down. You have to look closely to see. It's not the blind's fault but a small discrepancy with the levelness at the header attachment. My handyman didn't do a great job making sure that area was perfectly horizontally level (shimmed.)
Ordering was easy. I was nervous about self measuring but the tutorials
were so helpful.
