We purchased the motorized version for 4 windows that are 18 feet above the floor. They need to be charged every 6 to 12 months. This is very difficult to accomplish for this height. Their website is extremely obscure about the charging. It is only found in the installation instructions. The only help they would offer would be to give us a 10 percent discount on new blinds. They quite frankly did not care about our problem. They offered no remedies or assistance. Avoid Select Blinds.

Wow, we love our new motorized solar shades. I found the videos and website helpful in selecting the color and opacity. I have an art room and wanted to be able to let the light in but block the solar glare. Loving the motorized shades, as we have three shades to open/close. We had just a bit of difficulty installing, but finally decided to pop in the back first, then the top (opposite of the instructions). And on one set, we had to shave off a bit of the back corner in order to pop it into place. Once we figured that out, it was a breeze. The price was fantastic, much better than everywhere we shopped! My friends are envious.

Great Product



Ordered 8 shades in three different sizes. All arrived as expected. They were all self installed without issue expect: 1. The mounting screws were missing from one shade. The screw package area had been ripped open... maybe this was a returned shade? 2. Luckily, it was during the installation of the first shade the charger cable was tucked up above the roller. This condition was noted on three other units. 3. No programming instructions were included with the 16 channel remote. This was easily resolved with Google. All in all I am very pleased and will order the next 4 shades in the near future.

Excellent



We got our shades quickly and installed them easily. I was happy to see the guide wires to keep the shades from blowing in the wind were included at no extra charge. That wasn't clear to me in the product descriptions. We are very happy with the product and know our hardwood floors will be protected from fading now.
