The overall quality of this blind is very good. I followed the measuring instructions online, and it fits perfectly. The bottom-up, top-down mechanism might be wonderful in a small window, but is crude and inconvenient in a larger window. My window measures 4' x 5'. The top rail is stabilized against the mounting rail with three magnets which are so strong, you have pull and jerk to get the top rail loose, so as to move it down. Frankly, that's ridiculous. For that reason, I'll not use the top-down feature. And that's fine with me. It's kind of like having cup-holders in the third row, anyway. Other than that, I'm generally pleased with the blind, and plan to order more as my remodeling progresses. Just not any with the top-down feature.

I worked for over a decade in the window covering business as a state licensed window covering installer/contractor. Over 90% of my work was with one very major window covering manufacturer. The company that manufactured these shades for Select Blinds is a subsidiary of that very major manufacturer. We purchased 12 shades for our 2nd home/cabin. Nine were motorized, and three were Cordless Lift & Lock. I was pleasantly surprised that the initial estimated production/shipping/delivery date was only about two weeks out. I was disappointed when that date was moved back twice, however with no explanation. The order was finally delivered a little over 5 weeks from the order date. Customer service was always cheerful and pleasant when I would call to check on the order, but could never explain what the holdup was. The shades were packaged, wrapped and boxed quite adequately, and there was no damage to any of the shades. The shades are lovely, and in the Luxe Modern line of shades, these had complementing fabric wrapped/glued around the top and bottom rails, which I hadn't expected. Very nice. All the endcaps were attached completely, and didn't require any manipulation. All shades fit perfectly, and programming the motorized shades was easy and worked perfectly right off the bat. Yes, I would buy these again from Select Blinds, and five weeks from order to delivery is not unreasonable.

We recently purchased a new home and had a window treatment company come out to give us a quote. I was pretty shocked at the price so I decided to poke around online and found SelectBlinds. I ordered the free samples and once they came (less than a week later) we picked a color out that we liked and immediately placed the order for two Luxe Modern Light Filtering Cellulars. The order was submitted on a Saturday and they were delivered the following Thursday! They were wrapped very well and per my husband they were super easy to install. The blinds fit PERFECTLY, both length and width. These cellulars were a little different than our last house - the previous shades were much heavier and the handle at the bottom was much smaller and more subtle, but wow, even though they're much lighter, the up and down motion is so smooth. It just feels nice when you raise or lower them. We are extremely pleased with these blinds! These were a test, and now that we know the quality we're getting, we plan to do many more windows. My only negative is that I wish they had more colors other than tans, blues, and greys.

Ordering was straightforward and the access to the online 'chat' expert was excellent. We received several shipments of samples - a quick and easy process that helped us decide on the type and color of shade we liked. The shipment arrived in a timely fashion and was 100% accurate with all necessary mounting hardware. Instructions were accurate and I was able to install them easily. The only negative was that the pleated folds in several areas were 'puckered' i.e. not folded straight. I attempted to straighten them and was able to get them aligned fairly well. If look for it you can still see the irregularities - and for the money I feel that shouldn't have been the case.
