Okay overall the ordering process I give about 3/5 stars. The reason being is a lot happened with their system with updating my prices and I needed up losing out on the unlimited warranty on 18 blinds and ended up paying an additional $300-500. I contacted customer service and after an hour on the phone - I was told there was nothing they could do but they would provide the feedback about the error in their system. Later I was contacted by an ambassador (high ranking manager?) and Brian was simply amazing, he refunded me a partial payment and upgraded my blinds to the 5 year limited.. it wasn’t amazing but it was better than being told there’s nothing they could do even though it was their system that caused me to pay more for less benefits. As for the blinds - they are just as amazing as the last ones we ordered for our old house we sold. Our other ones were three years old when we sold house. They functioned the same as day one. I’m hoping the same comes from these. The sizes were perfect as I did EXACTLY what they explained in their details for measuring and subtracting the 1/8 etc etc. Now I know exactly how they measure these, I PERSONALLY adjusted the sizing to work in my favor and they fit so snug and perfect, but pull down smoothly. Installing the brackets was also smooth measure twice screw ones, but they also allow for very slight adjustments.

I was apprehensive to measure for our blinds on my own as I feared it would be difficult to do and prone to error, especially for our bay window, however, I followed the instructions on the Select Blinds website for both the Bay window inside mount shades, and the outside mount shade we ordered for our large dining room window. After installation, which was a breeze with basic DIY tools, I was pleased to see that the fit was perfect. The TriShade feature is fantastic allowing for complete blackout, complete light filtering, or anywhere in between making them very versatile for any living space. As I have only recently installed these shades, I can't comment on durability, however, the lift and lock mechanism feels as it should hold up well for the life of the shade. One area that I felt was lacking with these shades is quality of materials and craftsmanship. Understanding that these would be a good value, I was not expecting top notch materials, however, upon initially handling the shades for install and operating the shades after, the shades do not have a robustness to them and feel quite fragile. The overall looks of the shades are excellent and are exactly what we expected as we had ordered samples prior to placing our order. Although the color was perfect, the craftsmanship could have used some improvement. On our dining room shade, one of the end caps on the bottom rail has a large and noticeable gap while the other is completely flush as expected. The end cap does not stay flush when attempting to push it in to its proper position as there seems to be some tension causing it to flare outward. This is unfortunate as this occurrence is on our outside mount dining room shade with the endcap facing the entryway so it is not hidden. In addition, one of our bay window shades had a strange blemish on the underside of the bottom rail seemingly caused during manufacturing as the shipping box was undamaged and the shades were packed extremely well. Overall we are satisfied with our shades and look forward to showing them off to our family and friends.

Bought 3 of these for bedrooms in the house, and am very happy with the quality and function.

Although well made, I would warn potential buyers that the top, light filtering material is very sheer -- you can see right through it and it filters very little light. Looking at the website pictures, it appears to be an opaque material, like most cellular shades. This is not a product for your bedroom if you are planning on using the light filtering material for privacy.
