I have 9 shades from B.com. 8 of them are great. The one I have a problem with is a heavy 10 foot shade. Twice now the cord has broken. I believe it is just too heavy of a blind to use any type of continuous cord. They have been excellent on sending me a new shade and customer service has been very friendly to work with. I asked about getting a credit of some type for the initial purchase and upgrading to a motorized unit. They said this was not possible and I would have to place a new order. It seems strange they are OK with continuing to send me a replacement shade rather than upgrading (of which I am willing to pay some of the cost) and fixing the problem
