Do they create shade...yes.... do they look pretty ... yes.... do they roll up all the way when they’re done being used ....no... I bought two. One works the other not so much.

Sunny lanai



We ordered 5 shades all the same length, but there are some differences in length of the shades. At the time of the order we did not think we had to order longer pull cords for our shades; however, our lanai ceiling is 12 feet high, and the cords that came on the blinds end at a point we can barely reach. I had to pay additional money to get longer cords. It would have been helpful if the person who took my order had mentioned the standard length. Now we will need to take down the shades to install new cords. The shades definitely block the afternoon sun as we hoped.

We are very pleased with our new solar shades. We get direct sun on our Florida condo lanai every day. Even with the sliding glass doors closed it makes the living room hotter and more costly to keep cool, not to mention the fading effect it has on the furniture. I had these solar shades installed on the outdoor lanai up against the inside of the screens. It makes a significant difference holding out the sun's rays - and we can still see out very well. The quality of the shades is excellent and the turnaround time from order to delivery was great.
