It took about 2 weeks for them to arrive. It was easy to install although the video wasn't detailed enough to be helpful (no precise measuring suggested), the printed instructions were OK. These are labeled as being room darkening. They do darken, but
not as completely as I hoped since I'm trying avoid glare on my plasma TV. We haven't figured out the remote control for this motorized version. We can get them to go up/down and with blinds opened or closed, but they respond very quickly to the remote and
it's hard to finesse the exact spot where I would like the blind to be opened. I tried calling to find out how to alter the blind angle with the remote but they haven't been trained to answer that question yet so I was given a number for calling the manufacturer.
They're closed today so I'll have to wait to call next week. I think the price was great, and this is a great improvement in style over the wrinkly Roman shade we had before. I like being able to see out through the shades and the light they let in when they're
down with the blinds in the open position. I like the idea about the UV blocking to help protect rugs and furniture from fading from the sunlight.
