Great for a screened in porch



I bought 2 of these blinds a year ago to help block the sun in the late day on the West end of our screened in porch. I decided to buy two more for the SW corner since the sun comes in there in Fall and winter. We use our porch year round and we needed something to block the sun while still provideing a view of the lake.

Serves the purpose well



I have ordered this shade twice. The reason I give it only 3 stars for construction and value is that the first one came completely off the headrail and fell into a heap in the porch. Customer service was very kind and had a new one made for us, and so far no issues. We ordered a second to match and so far so good. I wish they came in lengths a little longer than 108” since my back porch has very tall ceilings. I am glad they now include brackets for holding the bottom of the shade in place. We had to buy our own elsewhere for the first shade. Overall, I’m giving it 4 stars.

Good Value



Quite satisfied with product, though it’s been only three weeks. Installation was done using my own heavy metal angle brackets attached to provided end brackets, under the roof eave, for the purpose of shading my mohagany front entry from UVs. Would be better quality if roll ends were metal vs plastic. I question the longer term durability of the two thin plastic nubs at the end that locks into the metal bracket. If they’re compromised, the entire product becomes junk. Otherwise and overall, at this time, pleasantly satisfied with product and value.

Reducing the Patio's West Facing Sun



We just got our 12' Wide X 7' Long, 3%, White, Exterior Shade installed on our West facing patio. It looks great and makes quite a difference in the amount of Western sunshine we often suffer with in our North Texas location. The shade was a little late in arriving based on the estimated shipping dates but when it did get here it was well packaged and looks very nice on our 24' X 24' covered patio. In spite of a couple of delivery timing issues, based on the product as we see it now, we would recommend SelectBlinds.
