These blinds were manufactured and shipped quickly and appear to be made of high-quality materials. In the closed position, this is nearly as good as a black out blind--we needed an update to our blinds that would solve the problem of some powerful security lights from property around ours and these do well. The texture of the colored material is very nice--almost natural. In more open positions these do a good job of letting light in while still providing some privacy. The mounting hardware seems a bit less than robust, but once learning there's an audible click into place, installation was more straighforward than other blind types.
