I just finished installing 17 shades that I had ordered. I am very satisfied with the quality of the material used and it looks really good. But after installing them I would like to make some suggestions. First, if you need to decide which lift style you would like, I would suggest the continuous cord loop. Out of the 12 shades I ordered with the cordless lift, 9 of them do not work and you need to roll them up by hand which is inconvenient and in some cases hard to get to. Second, I would highly suggest that when you open your shades that you take the end caps off and inspect that the prongs for the inner rollers are lined up in their mounting holes. 15 of mine were not, and after hanging the first 2 and cutting the security paper off, they fell completely down and raveled up. This was before I figured out what was going on. I had to roll them back up by hand, trying not to damage the material and get it aligned properly to put them back in their mounting holes. Once this happened, then the spring loses it's tension. Even after doing this step with the rest of the shades, the inner springs still sprung and released when I pulled them down to check proper operation. Now I have 9 out of 12 shades that do not work as intended with the cordless lift. And while you have the end caps off and the shade mounted correctly in it's bracket, I suggest you give the mounting bracket a little tap with a hammer to insure it is seated. I suspect that this is probably a shipping issue being thrown and bounced around before they arrive at your door. But the inner workings are a manufacturing issue, they are very cheap. Third, I would suggest that you purchase different mounting screws for your installation. The screws that come with the shades are very cheap and strip easily when installing, even drilling pilot holes. The tops of the Philips screws are not deep enough to withstand the pressure while being screwed in. I suggest 1 3/4" to 2" deck screws ,or similar, to hold them tight because if you don't they might come out when you need to unmount the shade for any reason. In conclusion, I would recommend Select Blinds and their products. The shipping is free, the pricing is very competitive and reasonable. I wish that they worked properly and am asking them if there is a possibility of changing the innards for continuous cord loops. But I still paid extra for something that doesn't work properly. This would have been a 5 Star review if they worked properly. Knowing what I know now, would I buy again ---- Yes

These look fantastic! We measured on our own and ordered - they were super easy to install! I was nervous about how much light they would block out - in bedrooms - but they do an AWESOME job of keeping light out! They take a little finessing and getting use to - to get them lined up right when you want them to block out as much light as they can.

Love the look from both inside and out! The amount of light that is filtered through is perfect, not too light or dark. My neighbor across the street called to tell me she loves the blinds and that I had made a good choice!
