Let me start by stating, I never write reviews for anything, but my experience with Select Blinds has been so terrible that I cannot let this go.
We ordered $1500 worth of this shade after meticulously measuring each of our windows. Once receiving the product, there was an issue with every. single. shade that we ordered. From not filling the window as shown, to including gaps between the shade and the window frame - this defeats the purpose of a blackout shade. We also received one blind that was made reversed to the tension bar, and another shade that arrived broken. What's also not pictured in the product overview, is the fact that you can see the entire tension/pull system on the outside of your window - none of it disguised or hidden from the sun which will eventually eat away at the single thread being used to pull your shade up and down. Out of our 7 shades ordered, all 7 shades were deemed useless.
We went through the steps of creating claims for each blind and providing several pictures for each covering. They said to wait 24-48 hours for a response, but it took an entire week before hearing from the company. We had to reach out to get a response, and even then, had to wait another weekend before hearing back and all they sent was a singular email requesting MORE PHOTOS of their faulty work.
With the run-around I've been given over almost month since I've received them, I want my money back. I have 7 shades sitting on my floor, all of which are unable to be used. Please refund me my money and take back this BROKEN PRODUCT.
