Supposed to be Cherry. Ugly chocolate brown. Took over two months to receive them. Not at all what I wanted. Install was easy.

A bit disappointed

The blinds look great! However the window is large and the blinds are quite heavy. t is extremely difficult to raise and lower them and the cords are always a tangled mess. The top slat is too close to the wand and always catches when opening, so now it has a dent in it. Never install the valance because the magnets didn't seem strong enough. Also - for blinds this heavy, one would expect tapes to manage the load. I kept them for years anyway - budget issue - but am now replacing them. I have ordered many blinds and shades from Select Blinds but this is the first time I would not recommend one of their products.

Mounting Hardware Doesn't Even Fit The Header

I have installed many blinds over the years and this is by far the worst experience Ive had. The outer mounts are 1/2" taller and 1/2" deeper than the actual header of the blind. This means the header fits very loose in the mounts to a point where its unusable. I dont understand how one could even design this and sell it. To make matters worse, Selectblinds has taken no responsibility for such a poorly designed product and recommended contacting the manufacturer of the mounts to discuss with them. They will not offer any sort of partial refund on this product so I will be taking this up with my bank. STEER CLEAR OF SELECTBLINDS and go with another company who can actually delivery a blind that is designed correctly.
